EMD LLC OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED AS LGBT BUSINESS
ENTERPRISE® BY NATIONAL LGBT CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

EMD LLC is proud to announce their recent certification as an LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE®) through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Supplier Diversity Initiative. The NGLCC is the nation’s exclusive certifying body for LGBT owned and operated businesses.

SILVER SPRING, Md. – The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named Eleanor M. Francen/CEO to the 2023 honoree list for the SIA Women in Security Forum Power 100. This initiative, presented by the SIA Women in Security Forum, honors 100 women in the security industry each year who are role models for actively advancing diversity, inclusion, innovation and leadership in the community.
Eleanor Francen has supported the federal government for over 25 years in both contractor, Department of State and active-duty military roles. Eleanor brings over 20 years of industry experience developing, delivering, and leading complex mission-oriented solutions while driving growth in a broad range of government services. She is an accomplished technical security industry professional with 20 years of experience and a strong background in operational, physical, and technical security. She is intimately familiar with the demands for technical security. As a strong team builder with expertise in efficiently coordinating resources, she excels in all aspects of accessing and delivering viable security solutions.

The Power 100 announcement comes on March 8, International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and presenting a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. SIA supports International Women’s Day and launched the SIA Women in Security Forum on this day in 2018. This year, SIA will celebrate International Women’s Day and its 2023 theme by encouraging the Power 100 honorees, the Women in Security Forum community and the larger security industry to work to forge women’s equity and #EmbraceEquity.
